Dissapointed and Ashamed: Day 9

So I was doing really good for that week
Then my boyfriend's mom came to visit.
I told myself I would have 1 free day where I wouldn't worry about my diet.
That 1 day turned into 2, then 3, then 4.

I know I haven't posted in almost a week, but I'm changing that again.
It takes 4 weeks for something to become a natural habbit.
So Instead of New Year's Resolutions- Create monthly goals.

For the Month of April- I would like to lose at least 8 pounds.

Buckle Down: Day 8

Finally a day off!
I went to the grocery store and got some stuff for lunch today.
Gonna have chicken, basil and tomato sandwiches.

Breakfast:
finished off my raspberries and blueberries.

Snack:
1 whole avocado because I love them so much

Lunch:
Baked Chicken breast, tomato, basil and provlone sandwich on a whole grain wheat bun.
Learned how to make that at work, and since they are so delicious I made them at home!

Snack:
Serving of those wafer snacks

Dinner:
baked cod fillets with mashed potatoes. Made with red potatoes and the cod fillets had lemon pepper and lemon slices

Weight myself today and I am down 1 and 1/2 pounds!

1 week down: Day 7

I feel really sluggish still.
I stopped writing the times down for my food as well.

Breakfast:
Blueberry and starberry smoothie with no yogurt and soy milk.

Snack: Bobo's Oat bars. There are made here in Boulder. They are wheat free and gluten free. And also Vegan

Snack:
3/4 of a bagel with cream cheese that I got at a meeting I went to today.

Lunch:
Salad with romaine, cherry tomatoes, baby corn, beats, pinch of cheese, broccili, olive oil and balasamic vingerette.

Ugh Mondays: Day 6

today wasn't that bad of a monday actually.
I had a really good day.
I am really excited about this project I am working on with J-man.
More details on that later.

Breakfast: 6:26am
Blueberry&Banana smoothie. I skipped the yogurt today and used skim milk.
And for some odd reason- I couldn't finish it!

Breakfast:8:40am
2 5oz boxes of cherrios and soy milk

Snack:
a sliver of Lemon bread. Not a whole piece. Just a teeny sliver.

Lunch:
Salad with chopped romaine, baby corn, cherry tomatoes, broccili, beats and cucumber with the usuale Oive Oil and balsamic vingerette. And also a Cod fillet that was really yummy.

Snack:
Raisins and Almonds

Dinner:
Homemade Chicken fried rice by Arthur. He is being such a good wife! LOL, jk

Snack:
PB&J, Organic raspberry jelly, creamy peanut butter on Ezekiel bread

Portions: Day 5

I need to try what Oprah did, and that is stop eating after 7 or whatever.
I shouldn't be eating after 10.

I packed my lunch again today.
I packed some raspberries and blackberries, Dannon Light&Fit Lime Yogurt, 2 string cheese, Active Life Style Cereal and a baggie of raw almonds

Snack: 12:23om
Fresh Raspberries and blackberries.

Breakfast 1:45pm
Active Lifestyle cereal with skim milk.

Lunch: 2:20pm
Salad with Spring mix lettuce, broccili, cherry tomatoes, cumcumbers, cherry peppers, Olive oil and balsamic vingerette. No cheese and no eggs today. Just wasn't in the mood for them
Right after Lunch I had a string cheese.

Snack: 3:45pm
Dannon Light& Fit Key Lime yogurt and some almonds

Snack: 5:15pm
String Cheese and a 5.5oz V8 juice
and some more Almonds.

I also had some hot green tea to help with my hunger today. So I avoid mindless and unnecessary snacking.

Dinner:8:54pm
Homemade chili by Arthur. It was really tasty. It had pinto and Kidney beans, beef stew chucks, tomato sauce and tomatoes and 1 small JalapeƱo. So tasty. I only had 1 bowl with some shredded cheese on top. I'm going to try not to eat anything else tonight and just exercise.
If I do have something it will be a protein shake after I exercise.

Discipline: Day 4

Phew! made it over the 3 day slump.
Just barely though.
I made a huge boo-boo last night before bed.
I had 2 cookies with some milk @_@
Grrr. I am mad at myself for that.

It seems like I ate a lot of food today but it was just a lot of snacking on small stuff.
I packed my lunch today since It's the weekend.

Before I left for work today at 11:07am I had two wedges of grapefruit

I had another small snack of some fresh blackberries and raspberries I packed for lunc

Breakfast: 2:00pm
Active Lifestyle cereal with soy milk. It's just like the special K with the strawberries in it, but I think, don't quote me on it, is 10 calories less per serving

Lunch: 4:27pm
Salad with Spring Mix lettuce, Cherry Tomatoes, Boiled Eggs, Broccili, Cherry Pepper, pinch of shredded cheese, Olive oil and balsamic vingerette

Snack: 4:35pm
String Cheese
Snack:5:38pm
My other string cheese

Snack: 5:44pm
Dannon Lite&Fit Peach Yogurt, Only 80 calories and very tasty

Before I got off work I had a grilled cheese with pepper jack and tomatoes.
I feel like I ate a lot today I feel really bad, but I actually just snacked a lot through out the day
I was still hungry at 10 so I baked some chicken breasts. I just had the breast, but I seasoned it with Herbamare, Lemon Peppeper and Basil. Really tasty.
I know I'm not exactly having the greatest start, but I'm trying.
I'm looking for something that could help curb my hunger at night.

I Hate Snow: Day 3

So it did snow this morning.
We got dumped actually.
Good thing about where I'm at in Colorado is that it's gone in two days.
March is usally the most snowy month we have.

Breakfast: 10:30am
24oz Blueberry Banana smoothie made with skim milk today and yogurt.
No lemon bread today! I don't know if I should be happy or sad about that, lol.

Lunch: 1:28pm
I dipped into our Salad bar at work, which is very impressive by the way. All of our food here at work is. So I had Salad with chopped romaine lettuce, broccili, boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, olive oil, balsamic vingerette and Baby Corn. Oh How I LOVE baby corn!

Dinner: 5:48pm
I brought home dinner for myself, Arthur and Ty.
I brought home cheeseburgers for everyone. I had fries that I shared with Arthur and I got Ty onion rings. I shared my fries with Arthur. And I know what you are thinking. Let me assure you that the cheeseburgers at work are different than a fast food place or a restaurant. I've read the label that's on the beef. It's not stocked full of preservatives or trans fat. It's all natural. Plus I had lettuce, tomatoes and pickles on it.

Snack: 10:45pm
I had a serving of the chocolate wafer snacks.
and a bowl of kashi cereal with yogurt.

I tried to drink more water today.
I had about 44oz of water today.
Hopefully I can drink more.
