Too bad we are expecting 5-10 inches of snow by tomorrow morning.
I worked 5:30am-3pm today.
Breakfast 6:20am
-24oz Blueberry and banana smoothie with soy milk and yogurt.
Yes I know! I think I have one every time I work.
I used to drink Venti iced white chocolate mochas with whole milk and whipped cream UNTIL I found out how many calories they were! Plus, because I had a little 'incident' with caffeine when I was working at Game Stop,so drinking caffeine now gives me serious vertigo. If I do drink it, it has to be half of a half of a shot. So I switched to smoothies in December. I used to have Strawberry banana smoothies, but one day we didn't have strawberries so I just used blueberries, and now I'm hooked. Maybe I'll post a video on how to make them at home? Who knows.
Snack 1: 10:23am
A slice of lemon bread.
That's another thing I want to give up. Or at least have it once in awhile.
The lemon bread from work is almost addicting. It's very good and may very well be my new favorite. But I'm sure it's not good for me if I'm trying to lose weight.
Snack 2: 1:46pm
2 boiled eggs.
I think that is a nutrious snack.
If you're noticing, my food intake was very spaced out for the day.
That's because I was in the coffee shop by myself from 5:30am-3pm. I really didn't have a chance to go and get a salad today.
Mindless Snacks:
Throughout the day, I find myself snacking on things. This is where I went wrong December-February. I didn't realize how much they actually added up. But they do. That's one of those habits I want to break. Rome wasn't built in a day, so I'm trying to get rid of the habit slowly. Today I had 2 sample cups of coffee. One decaf and one regular. The Decaf had half&half and 1/2 a splenda, and the regular had Skim milk with 1/2 a splenda. and I'm the kinda girl that likes coffee with her cream. I also had a sample cup of a frozen latte to make sure I made it right, and another sample cup of the watermelon wave smoothie from work- Just to make sure I made it right. So with those put together they equal 16oz. Each sample cup being 4oz.
Dinner: 11:00pm
I know I'm eating dinner late, but I was extremely tired when I came home from work.
I had a little bit of brown rice that Arthur cooked in my rice maker. That wasn't a complete dinner so I made a home made pizza. With thin crust, lots of tomato sauce, cheese, pepperonis, basil, and shredded Parmesan to top it off with.
I didn't do anything for exercise because of how late my nap was and because my ankles still hurt.
A problem I am having is not getting enough water. I have only had about 36oz of water today. I need to try harder to get more of that in with my day!
I'm wondering if I should be calorie counting?
I really don't know.
